Lindsay Oksenberg was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She grew up in an artistic family but also had a fascination with science and anatomy. She attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where she received a Bachelor’s of Fine Art degree. In 2008, Lindsay graduated from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center earing a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Communications. Currently, Lindsay works at UT Southwestern's department of Internal Medicine, Geriatrics division. Lindsay produces medical illustrations, animations, and interactive modules for the Reynolds Foundation - UT Southwestern Geriatrics Aging and Education (SAGE) program. In August 2013, Lindsay will attend St. George's University to pursue a DVM degree in Veterinary Medicine.


Lindsay Oksenberg is a board certified medical illustrator (CMI) and offers services in anatomical, medical, surgical, biological and scientific illustration as well as fine art. Illustrations and animations can be produced for textbooks, journal articles, presentations, patient education, websites, instructional videos, and much more.
